Here’s something that’ll sound like bullshit until I show you.
A year ago I couldn’t code my way out of a brown paper bag. I’d done some coding back in the day - enough to be dangerous, not enough to be useful. But I hadn’t touched it in 7+ years. Rusty doesn’t even cover it. I couldn’t have opened Notepad++ and built you a contact form.
