The Kid They Put in Special Ed Built This. Here’s the Full Story.

I was the ADHD kid. Special ed. Written off before I started.

My family didn’t accept that. They got a hair analysis done, found out I was deficient in damn near everything, and put me on a tackle box sized container of supplements every day. Went from special ed to honor roll taking AP classes by high school.

First lesson I ever learned about potential — most people who judge yours don’t have a clue what they’re looking at. Schools are run for the comfort of the teachers, not the education of the students.

Another thing is school still didn’t make sense to me. I was sweeping floors in autobody shops by the time I was 10. Worked the assembly line at Roush Racing, got into autobody tech/collision work, first I painted cars then got into full restoration work. After a couple years I left that for fitness — GNC, worked my way up from front desk to manager to personal trainer. It was actually right at the moment that I got full manager offer that I quit that to do door-to-door sales. Now bear with me, there was a method to the madness, there always is…

I felt like I still sucked at talking to people and I would hate how bad I felt everytime we had a walk-in at the gym, sometimes I would even get sick to my stomach. So while I loved fitness, that job was a bit like hell for me, plus I was already abusing Monster energy drinks trying to keep up with personal training, staff meetings and hitting our numbers. I really hit my stride with D2D sales, I was a top performer in the office, originally working my hometown of Detroit (like actual Detroit yes) for about a year and half before relocating to Miami with my team to open up a new office. I lasted less than 6 months, the heat was causing consistent full body rashes (I was reacting to the aggressive chemicals they used to press my suits). My time in Detroit though was memorable to say the least, had dogs sicked on me and knives pulled on me, all part of the territory though I guess.

None of that was planned, this was my training grounds and I didn’t even know it yet!

The First Build

I moved back home and spent 14 hours a day learning internet marketing. This was when forums were just picking up and the biggest thing was making money on Craigslist. I started in the blackhat forums — not proud of all of it, but that’s where I learned how the internet actually worked.

My first real break came from building websites and email lists for local businesses — chiropractors, dentists. Then I stumbled on something… these businesses needed tools and plugins that didn’t exist yet. So I built them. Turned around and sold those on the Warrior Forum.

That’s how the whole thing started! Well I mean there was a brief interlude there where I was selling Twitter followers and middle-manning software between US buyers and Middle Eastern providers but we will skip over that for now. So it was, take the tools that real local businesses needed/used that we built and go sell those to others. Eventually we got into launching some digital programs, JV deals etc. We did over $4 million in sales in about 4 years. 60,000+ customers from all over the world, more countries than I can remember.

The First Crash

And then I lost it all.

Bad habits. Impostor syndrome. Self-worth issues I didn’t even know I had. Almost like I repelled the money — as soon as I got it, I had to spend it. Every dollar. Like I didn’t believe I deserved to keep it.

I ended up in San Diego around the time of a couple big internet marketing events. Meeting friends and colleagues, trying to lock in any deal I could. I don’t think anyone knew at the time that I was bouncing from hotel to hotel, holding my luggage, mostly sleeping on the street.

I remember sitting in a restaurant — not even listening to the conversation because I was doing math in my head trying to figure out how the hell I was going to pay for the meal. That’s when my dad called. They were at his work. Repossessing my BMW for backed-up payments.

You would think that was rock bottom right?

Nope that came a few days later when I had no food for 24hrs and got kicked out of a hotel with all my stuff (they caught onto my bellboy trick), got to drag around all my luggage while I hunted for a park bench to crash on for the night. Who would’ve thought that on a regular sunny day in San Diego that I could freeze my ass off on a park bench that night. I didn’t even really sleep. (funny enough the very next day I locked in a deal)

Here’s what I did at the bottom that changed everything — I kept the notes. Every strategy that had worked. Every business model I’d tested. Every marketing framework, every sales technique, every lesson from the $4 million run. I replayed that in my mind with a sick obsession, in between blasting myself with every self help audio track I had on my ipod (ya those used to be a thing).

So I started putting in the reps. Rebuilding. On the ashes. Higher than before.

Remember, only a fool burns it down and learns nothing, after action report that event till you are emotionally neutral on it!

The Rebuilds

Spent over $100,000 chasing the edge — coaching, masterminds, retreats, biohacking, plant medicine. Traveled to 20+ countries. Ran 40+ personal experiments on myself during that time. One experience is forever burned in my brain, nearly killed myself on a dirt bike going about 110km down a dark road in Bali — on purpose — to test whether a learning pattern had deep-seated into my subconscious.

My life is my resume. Always has been.

Got into crypto in 2017 at $2,500. Rode it to $20K. Sold a bunch but still managed to lose about $200K when it all came crashing down. I was completely caught off guard. That’s when I fell in love with macro economics — how money and market cycles actually work. Because I never wanted to get blindsided like that again.

Built a credit funding business over 6 years — 400+ training videos, helped clients secure millions in funding. Built a YouTube channel to 20K+ subscribers (crypto and macro theme, we also built up Wallet Monkey over 20k subscribers). Launched a visa agency in Asia doing six figures a year with a team of just 3. Built a tattoo studio from zero to profitable in 6 months.

Every single time I found something that actually worked — a credit strategy, a tax play, a business model, a traffic strategy, a mental framework — I wrote it down. You should see my Google drive — before Obsidian & Notion it was stuffed. All of that turned into curriculum.

Then I went and built the businesses to prove it.

The Second Crash (And The Lesson)

Sold my credit business in 2024. Put just $10K into a few crypto projects. Ran it up to $2.5 million, then roundtripped it back to $0 — that was fun.

Different circumstances this time — I was invested in the projects, believed in them, so I held instead of selling. Turns out other team members didn’t feel the same and were selling the whole run up then turbo nuked it.

That one stung. But it also crystallized something I’d been learning the hard way for 20 years…

Life is all about ebbs and flows. You never want to completely nuke yourself and crash out. You want to build bumpers and safety nets. In short your life should NOT look like a pump & dump chart, there should be a floor/support created that then gets built on top of.

Once you work that out — once you have the nest egg and the safety net — it gets easier. Then it’s just about putting in the reps. Building out your money over and over again across many vehicles in your portfolio — all my soldiers out there working/building each day. Leveraging investments from safe to risky. Stacking higher each time because the foundation holds.

That philosophy? That’s the backbone of everything inside Bullrun Forever. My investment thesis, the money training. The recession dashboard, the entire Bulletproof Portfolio. All of it was born from those hard lessons.

Not from a textbook, but from getting punched in the face and writing down what worked.

I am a huge proponent of the AAR as I am sure you have noticed…

The Pivot

September 2025. I walked away from being “the credit guy.”

Lost thousands of subscribers. Got hate emails. People telling me to f*** off. That hurt. But I wasn’t the credit guy. I was never just one thing.

I pivoted into building software and wrote over 1.1 million lines of code since then. Built 40+ projects. Built Terminal Blank — my dev company. Built Tenant — the membership platform that Bullrun Forever runs on. Built Royal Plugins — a complete custom WordPress plugin empire, custom trading indicators, a recession dashboard, a country scoring system, calculators, dashboards, and plugins.

Every tool, every dashboard, every calculator inside BRF — I built them. Not outsourced. Not white-labeled. Built from scratch. Because the tools I needed either didn’t exist and/or I don’t trust anyone to support these things long term but I do trust myself to manage and maintain all of them.

What All of This Became

Bullrun Forever is what happens when you spend 20 years getting punched in the face, writing everything down, and turning it into something someone else can actually use. And most of this has already been tested, meaning people are already using our training and making money, getting funding, you name it.

Twenty courses. Eight hundred lessons. Three thousand pages. Every side hustle I’ve tested. Every business I’ve launched. Every credit strategy, investing framework, traffic strategy, and wealth-building system that actually moved the needle.

Plus 22+ calculators I coded myself. 4 proprietary dashboards pulling data from government databases nobody reads. An AI trained on every word of the curriculum. And an accountability engine built to keep you from repeating the loops I got stuck in.

I’m not a course creator who teaches theory. I’m a builder who documents what works.

This is everything I wish someone had handed me when I was that ADHD kid getting written off in a classroom. Getting made fun of by my classmates…

And now, I’m handing it to you.
